Mommy’s weekly specials! Menu for my picky eater

I was having fun playing with my Cohas adhesive Vinyl chalkboard again and made a sign to hang up outside of my kitchen.  My lil guy can be a fussy eater, so I thought I would make him a fun  menu so he could help meal plan.  This is just a flat canvas panel, covered in chalkboard vinyl and a couple of strips of ribbon… and I added  Beer and Barbeque Lady Digital Stamp,   but colored the bottle to look like Ketchup.  The image is colored with Zig Kurecolor markers.

  • What a great idea for the lil guy. This wat he feels like he is involved in the planning

    • Thanks Margaret …. I try and mix it up a bit and try new things for the little guy, specially since we will be homeschooling. No one said Education had to be boring haha. This vinyl will really come in handy later on too, so many fun things we can do with it education wise too.

This and the chalkboard magnetic sheet are two of my favorite things to use when doing this type of project… and when you combine in the Cricut Print and Cut and the coloring and digital stamps and usual papercrafting things… it has so many possibilities.

Looks like my kind of menu! 😉

    • I just like to make fun projects that he can get involved in. When he is bigger he can write in his own options… within reason lol. something like this lets him get involved in meal preparation and planning and also indirectly works on his reading and writing skills and such.. so an all round cool project for my lil man 🙂 these kind of boards are so quick and easy to make and very affordable.. and easily adapted to other uses when outgrown just by changing up the images and text.

We have a tonne of these flat canvas panels in various shapes and sizes.. they are really handy to have in your stash so I always grab some when they have offers at Michaels.
