Abandoned Art “Team N” Drop1 – DFW, TX

WOOHOOO… we snuck out and made our first drop near the mailboxes at an apartment complex in the DFW area of TX. It was too dark to take pictures without alerting everyone to the fact we were there .. I don’t need to be explaining this one to local PD at 9 PM haha
But this is what we dropped. Lil man had a blast on our “secret mission”
It is a  Plaster of  Paris round, stamped with rubber stamps and Stazon ink.  Colored with Adironack inks and Ranger Distress pen and clear coat lacquered with Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer.  The back was  covered with a felt disk using rubber cement glue.  More details on this project can be found here for anyone who wants to give this a try, great project for adults and kids to make stamping & coloring on Plaster of Paris

  • So fun!!! I am sure you have made someones day great!

    • Well we had fun … lil man thought secrete missions were the bomb lol .. next he will have me dressed up in pantyhose, lycra and a cape doing this at night lol.

Hopefully someone will find it and enjoy it….

This sounds like so much fun! I’m going to look into doing this, too. And, as a side note, I wonder if you dropped off art at my son’s apartment?! Wouldn’t that be a fun coincidence?

    • LOL Janine.. it would be hilarious .. tell him to check the area where the mailboxes are.. you never know. It’s going to be so much fun doing this with the lil man… you should try it… people leave all sorts of fun stuff for people to find 🙂 We’ll probably never hear from anyone.. but heh.. that’s just how things go some days.. doesn’t change the fact it’s a cool thing to do 🙂
