Bugaboo Crafty Challenge No.2 ….and previous winner

Woot, thank you ladies for joining in last month for our first Bugaboo Crafty Challenge… lots of lovely projects. Thankfully random.org had the task of picking a winner instead of me.. and that winner is… haha not that easy… you’ll have to scroll down to find out 🙂

Before I get to that I wanted to also thank the DT ladies for another fabulous set of projects for this new challenge.

I pulled a fast one on them and offered them a chance to do their chosen image AND .. a mystery image project. Being the fabulous ladies they are, everyone took the plunge and accepted that challenge..so we all have 2 projects to share this month. One is our chosen image and the other was a mystery image, chosen by me that we all gave our own spin on.

First off here are the chosen project images…. well most of them oopsie…. Merrie and I are in the naughty corner this week lol.  We both got caught up with real life and  we’re running a bit behind. I got my  main project post done, but still have to finish up my post for the mystery  image…and Merrie got her Mystery image done and still has to finish up her posts.

They’ll all be there shortly… so be sure to  check back for active links 🙂  In the meantime  please enjoy the projects by DeeScraps & NanaDonna…

Lil Inker Designs – DT Call ends Feb 22nd

Design Team Call for blog 2016

Lil Inker Design Team Call – Closes Feb 22nd, 2016

Ever fancied being on a design team…? well Lil Inkers has an open DT call for 3 new Design Team Members.  Hop on over and check out the requirements and their other team members… it looks like a fun team and the products  you get to  play with are pretty dang cool.  I ordered a cool stitch die set from here and happened to noticed the DT Call when I was writing my other blog post about stitched dies.

I’d love to apply myself.. hmm maybe I will…  can’t hurt to try right 🙂   They have some fab products and it would be a lot of fun to try new things out.

February Bugaboostamps/Executioner combo challenge

pocket_card3_wmd

Pocket Card Project

The challenges  were restructured and the bugaboostamps and executioner challenges were combined into Bugaboostamps/Executioner Combo Challenge

The rules are simple….use any bugaboo image and no single fold standard cards allowed.. lol.

I’ve seen a few of these pocket cards lately on the Kit & Clowder facebook group so I hunted down some sleeves and had a go.  This one will be winging it’s way to my grandaughter in Australia.

These are Avery Trading Card pouches which I picked up at Walmart for  less that $4 a pack of ten.  The images were colored with a mix of  Zig Memory System and Ranger Distress pens.   I cut my cards to 2.5x 3.5  so they were easier for the lil lady to get out of the sleeves… there is about 1/4 inch give on these.

It’s a fun project and a great way to mail cards overseas instead of standard letters, (you tuck a note or letter behind the center image)…. these can easily be put in an album  and collected over the years… awesome gift for grandparents  who don’t live close by  and they fold up to easily fit in a small padded jiffy envelope, so cheap to  mail 🙂

I definitely want to try more of these  🙂

Engraved Sample on the Explore ONE – amychomas.com

Chomas Creations Facebook Page

Check it out  for all the latest news on the prototype development and answers to all your questions.

After the disappointment of finding out that the Explore ONE was not feasible for Pen and Marker adapters like the Original Explore and Air…due to it’s design. It’s fabtastic news to hear that the new engraver is available for pre-order.

I love my Chomas pen and marker adapters and also have an engraver.

Don’t laugh, but I had to buy a spare original Cricut adapter because I never use it anymore and couldn’t find mine when I needed to do a pen review.. lol.
Yeah  my Chomas adapters are a permanent fixture 🙂  They open up the range of pens you can use to write and draw with your Cricut ..it’s awesome!

But never fear ONE users, the Cricut range of pens has improved dramatically since I bought my original Explore a year ago… so you have access to much finer pens than I did in the beginning  🙂

Starting pre-orders in the Chomas Creations store! amychomas.com
Orders will be shipping on or before February 15th.
